Putting the fun back into shopping
The model was simple: Prime customers purchase the ‘treasure’ flash deal of the day on their smartphone app for a convenient pick-up from the touring truck parked in their neighbourhood.
It had to be designed to store and showcase a variety of vendor brands from porterhouse steak one day to Skullcandy headphones the next. With ‘make it quirky’ being at the heart of the brief, a number of concepts were created, before landing on a fish spinning, bubble blowing, pachincho machine playing truck! All wrapped up in the iconic Amazon cardboard box.
An identity was created for printed collateral and digital content, including a stand alone app that alerts customers of the daily product offers and location of the Treasure Truck.
