We created a confident and contemporary brand that built on the existing strength and foundations of Donnybrook Fair and made it fit for the future.
A place between the chef’s kitchen and your home kitchen, a new brand essence of ‘For Gourmet Food Lovers’ emerged.
A refined monogram and bespoke logotype was designed working across both physical and digital touchpoints. Two new typefaces that feature strong geometric structures, create a visual connection and form a consistent and cohesive aesthetic for the brand. We kept the recognisable core colours of black and white, and inspired by the products and produce found at DBF, developed a secondary palette to reflect the personality. Chefs uniforms inspired the hand drawn brand patterns, emulating the craft and care, a symbol of excellence throughout the business. Photography is artisanal and honest and celebrates the passion, delight and craft of the DBF produce and its makers.
